"Phillips Eye Institute has been an active member of the Phillips Neighborhood since its inception in 1987. It was not until the Phillips Park Initiative and the Phillips Partnership were created that we were able to put the strength of other Phillips' businesses, organizations and individual neighbors together to improve the area. It has been a privilege for me to work alongside these gifted and dedicated people.

Shari E. Levy is President of the Phillips Eye Institute, an eye specialty hospital, of Allina Hospital & Clinics. Prior to this position, she served as Vice President of Quality Services at United Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Ms. Levy is a graduate of the masters program in Hospital and Health Care Administration at the University of Minnesota.

She is a member of and has served as chair of the American Association of Eye and Ear Hospitals. She is currently the Chair of the Development Corporation for Children, and is a member of the Philips Park Initiative Board and the University of Minnesota, Hospital and Health Care Association’s Alumni Finance Committee. She is a faculty advisor and adjunct faculty for the University of Minnesota, Carlson School, Program of Hospital and Health Care Administration. Ms Levy is also active in mentoring professionals through Mentium 100 and the Minnesota Hospital and Health Care Administration at the University of Minnesota. Other memberships include Women’s Health Leadership Trust, American College of Health Care Executives, and the American Society for Quality.
